I’ve been pondering the difference between what it means to “launch” something as opposed to “releasing” it.
When I think “launch”, I think of a rocket being propelled into space.
When I think of “release”, I imagine an animal, that has been nursed to health, and then released into the world.
Both are impressive events. There’s something awesome about watching that rocket, but there’s also something awesome about watching a living creature go out on its own.
I’ve been very specific about using the word “release” when talking about the release of my book. I see it very much that way.
I’m imagining the book just as I had a bird, held gently between my 2 hands. And then finally opening my hands up, and letting that bird fly away. Where it goes after leaving my hands, I don’t know. But I’m really eager to find out. I’ve done my part, and now it’s time for this little bird to fly out into the world.
And here I am, days away from celebrating this.

Because I know how I best create, my book release Zoom will be utilizing the same talents and magic that allowed this book to be created in 60 days. When I’m tapped into myself, incredible things happen. I’ll be showing up with my “cocktail napkin” of notes, because that is all the prep I ever do. Hand me the mic, let me walk out on stage, and away we go.
